RETURN POLICY
RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL AND RETURN PERIOD
You have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days after delivery by notifying us. After you notify us, you have 14 days to send the item back.
Return shipping costs are paid by the customer, unless we failed to inform you of these costs before purchase.
RETURN REQUIREMENTS
You may try on the item indoors as you would in a store. Handling beyond what is necessary to assess the item may lead to a deduction for diminished value.
To qualify for a full refund, the item must be returned in original condition:
• unworn, unwashed, undamaged
• odour free
• no marks, stains, wear, washing, or stretching
• all original accessories included (buttons, badges, extras)
• all original brand tags attached
• Gorilla Island security tag intact and attached
• original packaging used where possible
If the security tag is removed or broken, we may refuse the return or apply a deduction, because the item can no longer be verified or resold in the same condition.
NON-RETURNABLE ITEMS
The right of withdrawal does not apply to:
• goods made to your specifications or clearly personalised
• sealed goods not suitable for return for health protection or hygiene reasons, if unsealed after delivery
For hygiene reasons, underwear and socks can only be returned if unworn and in original unopened packaging or with the hygiene seal intact (if applicable).
HOW TO START A RETURN
We do not provide automatic return labels.
Email info@gorilla-island.com within 14 days after delivery with:
• your order number
• the item(s) you want to return
• optional: the reason for return (not required)
• optional: clear photos of the item and the intact Gorilla Island security tag (speeds up processing)
We will reply with the return address and instructions. Contacting us first avoids delays, but does not remove your legal right to withdraw.
SHIPPING

• keep your proof of shipment
• Gorilla Island is not responsible for returns lost or damaged in transit
But we will always assist where possible if an issue occurs
After we are informed of your withdrawal, we refund within 14 days. We may wait until we receive the item back or you provide proof of shipment, whichever comes first.
Refunds include:
• the item price
• the standard delivery fee you paid at checkout, only if you return the full order (international standard delivery can be higher, for example italy €15)
• express or upgraded delivery fees are not refunded
If you return only part of your order, we refund only the returned item(s). The original delivery fee is not refunded.
Exchanges are only possible if the requested item is still in stock. Contact us before sending anything back.
Returns under this policy are only accepted for orders placed directly through gorilla-island.com. Purchases through Vinted, Instagram, TikTok, or private sales follow the return rules of those platforms.
DAMAGED OR INCORRECT ITEMS
If you receive a damaged or incorrect item, contact us within 48 hours with photos and we will resolve it. This does not affect your statutory rights.
Gorilla Island may update this policy when needed. This policy does not affect your statutory rights under EU consumer law.
