All orders are shipped from Amsterdam, The Netherlands. Below you will find our complete Shipping Policy.



PROCESSING & HANDLING TIMES

• Orders placed before 12:00 (noon) ship the same business day.
• Orders placed after 12:00 ship the next business day.
• Orders placed on weekends or holidays ship the next business day.

We use a conservative cut-off time to avoid overpromising in practice, many orders ship earlier.



SHIPPING CARRIERS

We ship with PostNL, DHL, DPD and UPS.
The carrier may vary based on destination, service level, or customer preference.

For shipments within the Netherlands, PostNL is our recommended carrier due to reliability and speed.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING (OUTSIDE THE EU + UK)

International shipping outside the European Union s not yet available, but will be added soon.



ADRESS ACCURACY & VERIFICATION

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and correct delivery address.
Incorrect or incomplete addresses may result in delays or lost shipments.

Orders with unclear, mismatched or suspicious address details may be temporarily held for manual verification.



7. DELIVERY RISK & CARRIER DELAYS 

• Once your order is handed to the carrier, delivery times are outside our control.
• Gorilla Island is not responsible for delays caused by carriers.
• Risk transfers upon delivery to the address provided by the customer.
• Incorrect addresses may result in failed delivery or extra costs.

However:
We always assist where possible and help communicate with carriers customers are never left in the dark.



CUSTOM DUTIES & IMPORT FEES

For orders outside the EU (once enabled), all customs duties, import taxes and handling fees are the customer’s responsibility.



ADDITIONAL SHIPPING RULES

To ensure reliable delivery:
• we do not split orders into multiple shipments
• some carriers do not deliver to PO boxes (outside NL)
• we do not ship on Dutch public holidays
• express or UPS upgrades are subject to availability



TRACKING INFORMATION

Tracking details are sent via email once the package leaves our facility.
Please allow time for the carrier’s system to update.
