Returns
Buying a jacket you cannot try on first takes trust. If the fit is not right, sending it back is straightforward. You have 14 days from delivery to tell us, and another 14 days to ship it back.
HOW IT WORKS
1. Tell us within 14 days
Log in to your account, open your order and select Request return. No reason needed. Prefer email? Send your order number to info@gorilla-island.com.
2. Arrange tracked return shipping
We email you the return address and instructions. You arrange and pay for tracked return shipping and keep the proof of shipment. If we sent a damaged or incorrect item, we cover the return shipping.
3. Send it back
Pack the item as you received it, tags and security tag attached. Drop it off within 14 days of your request.
4. Get your refund
We inspect on arrival and refund to your original payment method. Full orders returned also get the standard delivery cost back.
WHAT WE CHECK
Every piece is photographed and documented before it leaves us, so inspection is quick and objective. We check that the item is unworn beyond trying on, odour free, with all brand tags, accessories and the Gorilla Island security tag still attached.
You are free to try the item on indoors the way you would in a store. That never costs you anything. If a piece comes back worn, washed, damaged or with the security tag removed, its resale value drops and we may deduct an amount to reflect that. We always show you photos and explain the deduction before we process anything.
ONE OF A KIND MEANS NO EXCHANGES
Most of what we sell exists once in that size and colour, so we cannot swap an item for another size. Return the piece and place a new order. If you have something specific in mind, message us and we will hold it where we can.
GET THE SIZE RIGHT THE FIRST TIME
Every product page lists flat measurements in centimetres for that exact piece, not a generic brand size chart. Compare them against a garment you already own and wear. Not sure? Send us the measurements of your favourite jacket on WhatsApp and we will tell you honestly whether it works.
DAMAGED OR INCORRECT ITEM
If something arrives damaged or is not what you ordered, email photos to info@gorilla-island.com. We cover return shipping and resolve it immediately.
